IdahoHeroes.com is a site created to share the history about the men and women in uniform who have served the United States of America and the State of Idaho.  The site features information about members of the Armed Forces with Idaho ties who have been awarded the Medal of Honor, information about the Wars and Campaigns in which Idahoans have bravely served, and the names of those Fallen Heroes who gave their lives in service to their country.

In Histories are found personal stories and experiences from Idaho veterans.

There are also examples of various Awards and Decorations that are found on our servicemen and womens' uniforms, as well as Military Badges and Rank Insignia unique to each branch of service.

Additional information will be available about the 116th Engineering Battalion, and it's service in Vietnam.  As well as stories shared by veterans of their service in Europe, the Pacific, Korea, Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Iraq and Afghanistan.

Although dad never saw combat as a soldier, he was always very
proud and honored to have served as a member of the Idaho
National Guard.  His patriotism, loyalty and dedication to
protecting and serving the State of Idaho and the United States
of America will never be forgotten.
